Registered Nurse II

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Registered Nurse II to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care within an academic medical setting. The RN II will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to support safe, patient-centered outcomes. Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately. Monitor patient status, document in EHR, and communicate changes to providers. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to coordinate care. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care strategies. Precept and mentor nursing students or new staff as part of MUSC’s academic mission. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Maintain infection control and regulatory compliance standards. Utilize evidence-based practices to support optimal patient outcomes. Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical competency building.
