About The Job: MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiology Hospitalist to join our collaborative cardiovascular team in Baltimore, Maryland. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice inpatient cardiology in a well-established program while working alongside experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), cardiologists, surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary care teams. As a 350-bed community teaching hospital and a major academic affiliate of Georgetown University, MedStar Franklin Square combines the strengths of academic medicine with the close-knit culture of a community hospital. Position Highlights:
  • Managing inpatient cardiology services in collaboration with APPsPerforming inpatient consultations, Rounding on hospitalized cardiology patients
  • Coordinating care with interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, hospitalists, and other specialists
  • Caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and efforts to optimize patient care delivery
  • Contributing to physician and staff education
  • QualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Echocardiography, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) training required
  • Strong clinical expertise in the management of complex cardiac patients
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Eligible to work in the United States
