Number of Openings: 2Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Labor & Delivery unit in Dallas, TX. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work with high-risk patients in a supportive and dynamic environment. We are looking for dedicated RNs with a passion for women's health and a commitment to providing exceptional care. Unit Highlights: High-risk obstetrical unit with 24 beds Patient ratios of approximately 2:1 and 3:1 in OBED triage Utilization of GE fetal monitors and Meditech documentation system
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-risk obstetrical bedside training and care
  • Circulate in c-section procedures and recover high acuity patients
  • Perform vaginal deliveries, c-sections, D&Cs, and post-delivery recovery care
Requirements:
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery care
  • Experience with high-risk patients is essential
  • Ability to float to the antepartum unit as needed
  • Dress Code:
  • Scrub color: specified by the facility
  • Nail policy: clean and healthy, no artificial nails
  • Hair must be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors
  • Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
