Davies Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading insurance organization that is adding several professionals to its liability claims team and seeking Claims Counsel / Senior Liability Claims Adjusters to manage complex, high-exposure liability claims. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior liability adjuster or claims counsel who is comfortable managing complex claims independently and advising on coverage strategy. Key Details 100% Remote (U.S.)Competitive Compensation Package ($120,000-$130,000 base salary) Full-Time, Permanent Position
What You'll Do:
  • Manage complex, high-exposure liability claims from investigation through resolution
  • Handle catastrophic claims involving death or severe injury exposures
  • Conduct detailed coverage analysis and policy interpretation
  • Issue or advise on Reservation of Rights (ROR) letters and coverage determinations
  • Manage litigation strategy in collaboration with defense counsel and internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate damages, establish reserves, and negotiate complex settlements on high-value claims
  • Provide guidance on coverage positions and strategic claim resolution
Required Experience:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) with active bar membership in good standing OR at least 5 years of senior-level experience handling complex liability claims (e.g., commercial auto/trucking, general liability, excess/umbrella, professional liability)
  • Active U.S. Adjuster License (any state accepted)
  • Experience handling high-exposure liability claims, often involving six-figure to multi-million-dollar reserves
  • Proven experience with professional liability claimsExperience managing general liability (GL) claimsExperience with D&O (Directors & Officers) claimsExperience with Excess/Commercial Umbrella claimsExperience handling surety claimsExperience with class action litigation claims
  • Strong background in coverage analysis and policy interpretation
  • Preferred Experience
  • Environmental liability claimsExperience working closely with coverage counsel or legal teams
