Adecco Staffing is hiring for Production Operators on 1st Shift! This is a temp-to-hire role in South Grafton, MA.
Hours/Days: 7:00AM-7:00PM, Monday-Thursday with optional OT on Fridays
Pay: $20.50/hour
Job Summary: The Extrusion Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion equipment to produce high-quality products. This role ensures the extrusion process runs smoothly, monitors product quality, and performs routine maintenance to keep machines in optimal condition.
Responsibilities: Set up and operate extrusion machines, adjusting settings based on product requirements. Monitor production to ensure quality standards are met and make necessary adjustments. Perform regular quality checks and resolve minor operational issues to minimize downtime. Conduct routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement. Maintain accurate production records and collaborate with the team to ensure steady material flow. Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in machine operation and maintenance is a plus
  • Proven experience as an Extrusion Machine Operator or in a related manufacturing role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and operate complex machinery
  • Knowledge of extrusion processes, equipment, and procedures
