Job Title
Position Summary: To accurately and efficiently build and assemble standard hydraulic power units.
Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred 1-2 years mechanical experience preferred Experience in a shop environment required

  • Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) clearly with co-workers and customers
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical principles such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and fractions

  • Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to learn new mechanical techniques
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Builds and assembles standard hydraulic power units
  • Cuts and crimps hydraulic hose
  • Performs quality checks throughout the course of assembly
  • Pulls parts and components from inventory
  • Performs tests on completed power units
  • Stocks/restocks product for power unit department
  • Maintains a clean and uncluttered workspace
  • Follows safety and security policies and procedures
  • Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe work conditions to the appropriate individual
  • Completes task and/or projects as assigned
  • Physical Demands
This position is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. Must have the ability to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to talk and hear to ensure safety. May be occasionally required to sit. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required including close and distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
Work Environment:
  • This position is performed in a Manufacturing environment. The employee will work around moving mechanical equipment; may be exposed to fumes and airborne particles. Indoor Warehouse temperatures may be affected by outdoor conditions. Noise level is moderate to loud.
