Commercial Roofing Estimator

Experience: 3+ years in Commercial Roofing Estimating Base Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (with bonus/commission potential)

About the Opportunity: Our client is a growing commercial roofing contractor in the South Florida market seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to support new business opportunities and ongoing projects. This role plays a key part in accurately pricing projects, supporting sales and operations teams, and helping the company win profitable work across the region. This position is ideal for an estimator who understands South Florida roofing systems, labor pricing, materials, and local market conditions, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial roofing projects, including new construction, re-roofing, and repair/service workReview drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop complete scopes of workPerform detailed material takeoffs and labor calculationsSolicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor pricingIdentify value-engineering opportunities while maintaining quality and code complianceCollaborate closely with sales, project management, and operations teamsAssist with bid strategy, proposal development, and pre-construction planningMaintain organized estimate files and support handoff to project teams upon awardQualifications 3+ years of experience estimating commercial roofing projectsStrong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, Metal, coatings, etc.)Familiarity with South Florida building codes and permitting is a plusProficiency with estimating software, Excel, and takeoff toolsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsEffective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyBenefits: After 90 days employees are eligible for benefitsInsurancePTO401K
