Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities: Ensures compliance with a safe work environment, exceeding OSHA and environmental requirements Maintains and directs plant HS&E policies and programs in corporation with Corporate Plant Manager Completes hands-on maintenance and repairs of equipment to ensure safe and effectiveness of equipment operations Facilitates vendor maintenance communications and scheduling Created preventative maintenance schedules to ensure limited down time Develops operating instructions and programs to ensure proper training on operating procedures, and safety Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives Adheres to ISO and/or QMMS requirements

Requirements: Associates or Technical Degree in Industrial Management, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience as a maintenance technician Prior experience with maintenance planning and control in a manufacturing environment Hands on working knowledge of electrical instrumentation and controls, mechanical repair, welding, plumbing, pneumatics, compressed air systems, HVAC, conveyors, mixers, gear boxes, and fabrication experience required Strong communication, both written and spoken Computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, JD Edwards, and COGZ a plus
