The Role: The Deployment Specialist (Frontend & RMA) is responsible for supporting the end-to-end deployment process for cashless ATM terminals by executing all frontend deployment activities in Miami HQ and processing RMAs for returned terminals to ensure accurate setup and successful terminal activation. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role centered on preparing, testing, shipping, and verifying terminals at Miami HQ. Backend coordination with the Ukraine-based team is limited and handled on an as-needed basis.

What You'll Do: Frontend Deployment (Primary Responsibility – Miami HQ)Program and configure payment terminals according to processor specifications and approved merchant setup forms. Perform firmware updates, network configuration, and gateway integrations on devices. Test terminals to ensure successful transactions prior to shipment. Package and ship terminals, peripherals, and accessories with high accuracy and quality standards. Coordinate shipping logistics, generate tracking labels, and confirm merchant delivery. RMA Processing (Returned Terminals)Process RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) for returned terminals, including receiving, inspecting, and testing each unit to verify whether it is working properly. Determine the next step for each returned unit: redeploy, repair, or return to the supplier, and coordinate with with suppliers as needed. Document RMA results, terminal status, and serial numbers in Monday.com or Zendesk so each return is tracked from receipt to resolution. Backend Coordination (As Needed)Provide light backend coordination with the Ukraine-based Backend Deployment team on an as-needed basis, such as sharing serial numbers or merchant setup details and flagging discrepancies to deployment leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Submissions teams to verify merchant setup accuracy before deployment. Coordinate with Technical Support and Customer Success during activation and early-stage troubleshooting. Update CRM and internal tracking systems (Monday.com or Zendesk) with:– Serial numbers– Deployment status– RMA status and testing results– Shipping and activation notes Inventory Management Track inventory of terminals, SIM cards, cables, and accessories. Reconcile inbound, deployed, and returned inventory. Escalate inventory discrepancies or shortages to management. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant deployment workspace at Miami HQ.Compliance, Quality & Documentation Follow PCI DSS and internal security protocols when handling payment devices and merchant data. Maintain accurate deployment documentation and serial logs. Adhere to established deployment and RMA SOPs. Provide feedback on recurring issues, process gaps, or documentation improvements. Participate in ongoing training related to processors, terminals, and deployment systems.
