Key responsibilities:
Design power utility substations, including general arrangements, equipment layouts, and grounding plans, while ensuring compliance with applicable codes
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and contractors to resolve technical issues and support project execution
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, reviewing calculations and design packages to maintain quality and compliance
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
10+ years of experience in substation physical design engineering
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong document management and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
