Our Goal at Crave Cookies is a gourmet dessert brand specializing in large, fresh-baked cookies and signature loaded sodas, made from scratch and never frozen or reheated. Every store bakes daily to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience to guests. Your role as a Cookie Expert is a part-time, on-site team member based at the Willowbrook, IL location. In this role, the Cookie Expert prepares, bakes, and decorates cookies according to company recipes and standards, and helps craft loaded sodas with consistent presentation and quality. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines, and restocking ingredients and supplies. The Cookie Expert greets guests, explains menu items, takes orders, and processes payments while providing friendly and efficient service. This role also supports opening and closing tasks, basic equipment care, and ongoing communication with the store leadership team to ensure smooth operations. This is predominantly a weekend position for Friday 5pm-1130pm, Saturday 5pm-11:30pm and Sunday from 5pm-10:30pm. Employees begin at $16/hour. Employees are tip elegible. Tips are divided amongst the staff per hour worked to ensure fairness and consistently. Crave Cookies is a steadily growing brand looking for those interested in development and career growth.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong food preparation and baking skills, with attention to detail in measuring, mixing, and decorating products. You need to be observant! Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, including the ability to interact positively with guests and collaborate with teammates. We are actively seeking someone with HIGH ENERGY and who is personable. Candidates should possess skills in time management and organization, including the ability to handle multiple orders and maintain a tidy work area. Candidates should possess basic point-of-sale and cash-handling skills, with comfort using digital systems and following transaction procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights up to 50lbs, and work in a fast-paced food service environment. Previous experience in service, retail, or hospitality is required. Reliable transportation to the Willowbrook, IL location and availability for evenings, weekends, and peak business hours. Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with store policies and health regulations.
