2-7 Year Associate Attorney - Litigation

About the Role: The successful candidate will manage a caseload of insurance defense matters and work closely with experienced trial attorneys while developing trial skills and taking ownership of cases.

Responsibilities: Manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and case evaluations Take and defend depositions Attend and argue hearings, arbitrations, and trials Communicate directly with clients and carriers Work with partners on litigation strategy, case development, and firm growth Take ownership of your cases Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing 5-7+ years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines Required Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines
