Clinical Informaticist

Key responsibilities: Serve as a clinical SME for NC HealthConnex solution teams, offering insights on clinical concepts and data use cases Support the implementation and operationalization of the Digital Quality Measurement engine, aligning clinical data sources to quality measurement specifications Collaborate with technical and clinical teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, enhancing the accuracy and usability of clinical data

Required qualifications: Clinical degree or licensure (e.g., RN, MD, NP, PharmD, or other licensed healthcare professional) 3+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or health information exchange environments Strong understanding of clinical documentation, EHR systems, and data interoperability Experience with quality measurement programs and tools, including HEDIS, eCQMs, and dQM Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR
