Registered Respiratory Therapist

Provide respiratory care across patient care areas, including oxygen delivery, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, mechanical and non-invasive ventilation, emergency respiratory care, and blood sampling analysis. An active state respiratory therapist license, NBRC RRT credential, and BLS certification are required. Administer oxygen delivery and prescribed respiratory therapeutic procedures. Perform diagnostic procedures and evaluate blood sampling results. Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical and non-invasive ventilators. Evaluate therapy, recommend care plans, and identify patient education needs.
