Together we champion creativity and build thoughtful experiences and content that solve business problems and bring brands to life. We are seeking a Creative Resource Manager to join our team. This role is focused on keeping the creative department organized and properly resourced throughout the entire creative development and execution process to ensure our team delivers best-in-class and winning work. You will be responsible for making strategic recommendations and decisions around resource planning and management. You will report to the Head of Creative and work hand in hand with our Director-level creatives (i.e. Creative Directors, Directors of Creative Strategy, Design Directors) and other departments to understand their needs. Additionally, this role will positively contribute to making Invisible North’s culture an envy of the industry, a studio that turns out jaw dropping creative and design and does so by upholding an inclusive, flexible and giving work environment. While our main office is located in DUMBO Brooklyn, we work as a distributed team with members reaching from Maine to LA, and everywhere in between. This position can be remote but will require overlap with EDT hours. Roles + Responsibilities Resource Planning and Management Lead project-based staffing across the Department for both active client work and proposal/pitch work Spearhead creative recruiting efforts by working with Department Leadership and Directors to identify team needs and managing Invisible North’s recruitment partners to find both freelance and full-time candidates Utilize, maintain, and (where necessary) build resource/time tracking and capacity planning tools to effectively monitor the Creative Team’s bandwidth Onboard all new creative talent to our ways of working, culture of the agency, team personnel, best practices, etc. to ensure every new resource is set up for best chances of success and our team members working with those freelancers are supported in the most effective way Maintain an awareness of all active projects at the agency, and help the Accounts Team and Project Managers build realistic creative development schedules based on our team’s capacity Work with our Business Development and Accounts Teams to accurately scope new projects with creative roles and their corresponding time/hours forecasts (a key part of our budget building process for new projects)Regular checks to monitor and manage creative freelancers’ active project scopes and billings in collaboration with Accounts Team members overseeing a given freelancers project Team Development + Relationship Building Work with Creative Department Leadership to create a shared vision and shape processes as well as build, mentor, and encourage creative teams Identify and address skills gaps within the team Build deep relationships with the creative team with strong communication, reliability, consistency and trust. Look for team bonding or skill building opportunities within the creative department Creative Collaboration Help facilitate project kickoffs to foster collaboration, discuss project goals, prioritize action items and play to the strengths of all creative team members Identify commonalities across projects and opportunities for shared knowledge to maximize the creative team’s bandwidth and create an environment of shared thinking and collaboration Skills + Qualifications You have 3+ years of experience in Design, Strategy, Creative Project Management, Creative Staffing, and/or Design Management with time spent managing and growing a team in the experiential, advertising, or media industries Experience/background in experiential marketing highly favored, but not required You have awesome written & verbal communication skills You are extremely organized, have an ability to successfully multitask, and take full ownership of assigned projects You are the ultimate team player & look for ways to help out and know there is no job too big or too small to do well Compensation Full Time salary: 100,000/yr - 125,000/yr*This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
