Job Title: Managing Attorney
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: $150,000 - 170,000

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience handling Illinois personal injury cases from inception through verdict
- Significant courtroom and trial experience, including personally preparing and trying multiple personal injury cases to verdict
- Strong knowledge of Illinois state and federal procedures, protocols, and rules of evidence
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and lead attorneys and paralegals
- A positive, collaborative leadership style with a genuine focus on team development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish expectations, provide constructive feedback, and keep teams aligned
- Highly organized, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of attorneys and paralegals
- Establish and maintain standards for case handling, litigation strategy, and firm procedures
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Personal Injury Division
- Support staffing, team development, and employee relations
- Provide guidance on case strategy, litigation, and trial preparation
- Partner directly with senior firm leadership on the continued growth and development of the division
- Lead by example as both a skilled trial attorney and people leader
