Clean Energy Engineer

Con Edison, a multibillion-dollar energy utility, is leading the clean energy transition in New York City and Westchester County. We are investing hundreds of millions of dollars annually to integrate distributed resources into our electric and gas systems, support electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and scale adoption of energy efficiency and clean heating technologies across our customers. The Clean Energy Senior Specialist is responsible for conducting technical reviews of projects involving energy efficiency, demand management, and energy conservation in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Efficiency Program. This role focuses on evaluating and assessing the technical components of submitted projects, identifying potential issues, and recommending appropriate solutions. In addition, the Senior Specialist serves as a key technical liaison, providing engineering guidance to internal teams, participating contractors, and customers to support the adoption and implementation of energyefficient technologies. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
