Per Diem Substitute Teachers

Substitute TeacherCoventry Public Schools is seeking to hire per diem Substitute teachers. All members of our school community are full participants in the evaluation of their performance with the single aim of improvement. Substitute employees are those persons employed on a daily basis to perform the full work schedule for a regular certified teacher during her/his absence from duty. Persons employed as a substitute teacher on a day-to-day basis shall be paid at a rate of $145 per day with flexible schedules ranging from 1 day to 5 days a week. Successful applicants must hold a BA or higher OR an Associates degree or have completed 2 years on a 4 year track.
