CT Technologist - $23 per hour

Tenet South Carolina is seeking a CT Technologist for a job in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: Ongoing Employment Type: Staff Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility The purpose of this position is to provide CT scan examinations to patients of all ages. Technologists provide patient care services using CT imaging. This includes assessing the patient’s condition, operating equipment, proficiency in PACS, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Technologists are also required to maintain necessary patient records and participate in the departmental Performance Improvement Program. Transfers patient to exam table; ensures proper covering of patient according to policy and procedure. Arranges, attaches, or adjusts immobilization and support devices according to procedure, ensuring limitation of patient movement. Assesses patients condition & determines proper breathing instructions (utilizing it properly), exposure factors. Demonstrates satisfactory positioning and equipment knowledge; consistently produces radiographs of diagnostic quality. Utilizes proper Radiation Safety with patient, self, and others. Performs related duties as required.
