Founding Account Executive

Summary: We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Founding Account Executive to lead the company's sales efforts in the financial management software space. As the first dedicated sales hire, you will take ownership of building and refining the sales process, drive revenue growth, and establish a repeatable sales model. This role offers the opportunity to shape the sales playbook, develop workflows, and manage your own territory, making a significant impact in a fast-growing startup environment.

Requirements: 3+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience, with proven success in self-sourcing and closing deals Experience selling technical financial or operational software to sophisticated buyers Strong discovery and negotiation skills, with the credibility to engage finance and operations decision-makers Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in an early-stage, dynamic environment

Preferred: construction, fintech, or Quick Books ecosystem background; experience selling to owner-operators and finance teams

Responsibilities: Own the complete sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, discovery, product demonstrations, negotiating, and closing deals Develop and manage a pipeline of accounts across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions Conduct product demos that connect capabilities to customer pain points such as month-end close, approvals, job costing, and data entry Document sales processes, messaging, objection handling, and sales strategies to establish a scalable system Maintain an accurate CRM and provide feedback on market signals to support growth
