  • About the Position
Our client is seeking a reliable CDL A Driver for a local light-touch delivery assignment in the Carlsbad area. This role offers consistent Monday through Friday work, competitive pay, and the potential for permanent placement. Pay & Schedule$27.00 per hour Estimated weekly gross pay of $1,400 Monday through Friday schedule Start times vary between 4:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., depending on the assigned route40 hours per week Temporary assignment scheduled through November 27, 2026, with potential for permanent placement Local work in Carlsbad, California
Job Details
Route type: Local routes with varying daily stops
Freight: Light-touch freight delivered to vendors
Equipment: Class A tractor-trailer
Handling: Safely lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
Work setting: On-site
Key Responsibilities: Operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned local routes. Complete deliveries to vendors while managing varying routes and daily stops. Handle light-touch freight safely and efficiently. Frequently enter and exit the cab and rear cargo area. Complete vehicle inspections and report safety or mechanical concerns. Follow all applicable safety procedures and transportation regulations.
Minimum Requirements: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. Current non-excepted interstate DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one. Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years. Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements. Must be at least 21 years old. Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
