This position owns the people, priorities, and delivery of the engineering basis for how production work is defined, timed, scheduled, and measured across the MFC manufacturing network. The selected candidate will: Lead, staff, and develop a team of industrial engineers supporting multiple manufacturing sitesSet priorities against inbound demand and decide what the team takes on, what it returns with a method, and what it declinesOwn the team's delivery commitments across standards refresh, capacity and rate analysis, span reduction, and layout and flow workHold the engineering basis for standards, routings, work center efficiency, and scheduling parameters, and defend that basis to program, finance, and operations leadershipDeploy common method across sites so capability lives in the process rather than in individualsManage staffing plan, workload balance, and charging against program and functional fundingRepresent the function in governance forums, rate readiness reviews, and capital and footprint decisionsHire, develop, and retain technical talent, including performance management and succession planningWork supports a range of MFC operations including machining, energetics, electronics integration, and testBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or related technical discipline from an accredited institution 6 years of professional experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or operations analysisDemonstrated leadership of engineers or analysts as a formal supervisor or technical leadExperience owning delivery commitments across multiple concurrent efforts and competing internal customersWorking knowledge of labor standards, routings, and ERP production data structures: work centers, lead time, capacity, order executionExperience presenting analysis and recommendations to senior operations, program, or finance leadershipExperience working directly on a factory floor with production, planning, and qualityAbility to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret security clearance.
