Responsibilities: Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians in all aspects of patient care. Maintain patient flow and keep exam rooms, labs, and treatment areas clean and organized. Communicate with the veterinarian and vet techs regarding patient status and treatment needs. Carry out or set up procedures that do not require the assistance of a veterinarian or vet tech. Adhere to hospital standards that keep pets safe and maintain a clean environment. Educate clients about our Optimum Wellness Plans® and the importance of preventive care. Mentor other members of the hospital team.

Qualifications: Preferred education: Certificate of completion from a NAVTA‑approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent knowledge, training, and experience. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Able to perform all required skills of NAVTA‑approved veterinary assistant programs at a level that aids in the efficiency of the practice. Action‑oriented, customer‑focused, good listeners, and effective communicators. Positive attitude and dedication to veterinary care.
