The Occupational Therapist Assistant I (OTA I) for Christ Hospital Home Health Care provides comprehensive skilled care in patients’ homes following the attending physician’s plan of care. The OTA I educates patients and families and ensures patient safety, while maintaining documentation compliant with Medicare/Federal guidelines. The OTA I collaborates with the supervising occupational therapist and care team to assess needs, guide self-care activities, and help prevent hospital readmissions.
