Senior Linux System Administrator

MANTECHseeksa motivated, career and customer-oriented LinuxSystem Administrator to join our team in Laurel, MD.You will be part of a dedicated team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce that supports a wide range of national defense missions. This role directly supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization—the foundation of all Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) for MPO.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Configure, manage and troubleshoot Linux operating systems. Installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot and maintainintegrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoringand problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and will remain involved in the resolution process. Optimizesystem operations and resourceutilizationand perform system capacity analysis and planning. Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applicationsand software integration.
