To support K-12 students with learning differences, the part-time Virtual Specialized Education Instructor will provide legally compliant, specially designed instruction and manage IEPs while working remotely during traditional school hours.
Key responsibilities: Deliver specially designed instruction (SDI) and compensatory education services to students with active IEPs Develop and implement individualized lesson plans targeting critical skill areas, including reading, math, and executive functioning Collaborate with IEP teams to coordinate services and monitor student progress
Required qualifications: Active Special Education teaching license/certification Experience in school settings providing specially designed instruction to diverse student populations Strong collaborative communication skills for engaging with IEP teams Proficiency in conducting virtual services using meeting platforms and instructional technology Availability during traditional school hours (8:00am - 4:00pm) for a minimum of 10 hours per week
