Location: Joe Patti's Seafood Market

Position Summary: The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the market. This role supports daily operations by ensuring all customer-facing and back-of-house areas meet cleanliness standards, especially in a fast-paced seafood and food service setting.

Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize floors, restrooms, work areas, and common spaces regularly Sweep, mop, and remove debris from high-traffic areas Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly, including seafood-related waste Clean and disinfect surfaces, counters, and equipment following food safety guidelines Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and restroom items Respond quickly to spills, hazards, or sanitation concerns Maintain cleanliness in coolers, storage areas, and employee spaces Assist with deep cleaning tasks as scheduled (walls, drains, equipment, etc.)Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Qualifications: Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, wet, and cold environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in varying temperatures (including refrigerated areas)Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
