Description:
  • American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a rotating day/night inpatient orthopedic/urology surgical unit requiring Level 1 trauma and prior travel experience.
  • Details36-bed adult inpatient orthopedic/urology/surgery unit
  • Patient population includes orthopedic and urologic patients who are post-surgical and pre-surgical from the ED, front door, or clinical admissions13-week assignment with day/night rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Uses Epic charting system
Requirements:
  • Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses acceptedBLS certification required (AHA preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience requiredMinimum 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience requiredMinimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
  • Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date
  • Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information:
  • Care for post-surgical and pre-surgical orthopedic and urologic patients
  • Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, subject to a reduced rate
  • Two professional references required for considerationRTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
