Detailed Job Description:
Experience with Flavours of Linux OS system administration, handling incidents, changes related to Linux OS, patching, VMWare tools related.
Ensure the environment is secured and updated. This role includes, but not limited to patch management, system upgrades, backups, disaster recovery/business.
Should have proven experience in automation and tools like ansible, GitHub etc...Communicates results, status, and actions effectively.
Should be able to address performance issues, post patching Issues.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Linux OS system administration
- Experience with VMWare tools, deployment of VM's, VM's migration experience.
- Strong understanding and Implementation knowledge on security Initiatives
- Experience with configuration management and automation
- Experience with VMware/Flavors of LinuxStrong understanding of Storage and Network concepts
- Strong understanding of automation concept
- Knowledge on Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Well versed with ITIL process
