Construction Manager II

Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering (P.E. Preferred), or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3–6 years of progressive experience in construction management, preferably in DOT transportation or infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project delivery processes Experience with DOT or public agency projects is preferred Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to manage staff on large, fast-paced projects Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Why would a candidate want this job?
