Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities: Qualify and audit suppliers, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards. Lead APQP, PPAP, FAI, and related quality planning activities. Manage supplier corrective actions (8D, RCCA) and monitor performance metrics. Support part qualification, production ramp-up, and issue resolution. Maintain quality documentation—control plans, PFMEAs, SPC data, and scorecards. Collaborate with suppliers on design improvements and process controls.

Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineering. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Aerospace industry experience preferred. Proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and root-cause analysis tools. Strong communication skills and experience with ISO 9001 or similar standards. CQE or related certification a plus.
