This posting is a general application for Psychiatrists interested in current or upcoming opportunities within our partner practices.

Psychiatrist Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting.
Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.
Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patient s care to ensure comprehensive treatment.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records completely all documentation in compliance with legal/ethical standards.
Advocate for clients' needs and rights, including access to psychiatric services and medications.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Michigan, or willing to obtain
- Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
- Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration ( DEA ) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.
- Preferred minimum of 1 year experience treating adults in private practice
- Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment
