Full Charge Bookkeeper, CONSTRUCTION Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a hands-on Full Charge Bookkeeper with Construction industry experience to join a growing project-based organization. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, billing, collections, project administration, compliance tracking, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with management to ensure accurate and timely financial information. As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will: Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, account reconciliations, and general ledger support Coordinate project setup, maintain accounting records, track customer deposits, and monitor financial activity throughout the project lifecycle Prepare reports for management, support cash flow planning, and provide timely financial information as needed Administer vendor and subcontractor documentation, including insurance certificates and compliance requirements Utilize Excel and accounting software to maintain accurate records and streamline processes Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, project teams, and leadership while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Prior experience in construction, contracting, or project-based accounting environments is highly preferred; Sage experience is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper who enjoys variety, ownership, and being a key contributor on a small, closely knit collaborative team.
