Associate Attorney

Responsibilities: -Independently manage a caseload from inception through resolution-Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda-Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts-Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances-Develop litigation strategy and evaluate case exposure-Communicate directly with insurance carriers, clients, and opposing counsel-Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial proceedings-Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution-Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and reporting

Qualifications: -J.D.-Active membership in the Florida or South Carolina Bar-3+ years of civil litigation experience preferred-Strong deposition, motion practice, and case management skills-Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities-Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cases simultaneously-Trial experience is a plus but not required
