Project Manager

About the Role: Manage all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. Oversee project budgets, financial reporting, contracts, schedules and change orders. Lead project teams across one large project or multiple smaller projects. Coordinate Owners, Architects, Designers, Subcontractors and internal teams. Run project meetings and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project. Manage project documentation and accounting processes. Review and coordinate MEP systems throughout the project. Oversee construction in occupied buildings where required. Maintain a high standard of quality across all project phases. Provide leadership, mentoring and training to Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers and other team members. Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining schedule and budget requirements. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications: 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferred.

Required Skills: Strong understanding of ground-up commercial construction. Experience with preconstruction, change orders and project financials. Knowledge of MEP systems and commercial interiors. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead meetings and effectively communicate with Owners and Design teams. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft Project. Familiarity with construction accounting and project management software.
