Dynamics 365 Business Central Implementation Consultant
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 Business Central Implementation Consultant to join our growing ERP consulting team. This role will be responsible for leading and supporting Business Central implementations, working closely with clients to understand their business processes, configure solutions, and deliver successful ERP deployments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV), a background in ERP implementations, and the ability to collaborate with clients across finance, operations, distribution, manufacturing, or professional services environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations from discovery through go-live
  • Partner with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into ERP solutions
  • Configure Business Central modules including Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Projects, and Operations
  • Conduct requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design, testing, and user training
  • Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on customizations and integrations
  • Support data migration, system testing, and deployment activities
  • Provide ongoing client support and recommendations for process improvements
  • Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted ERP advisor
  • Participate in project planning, status meetings, and documentation
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAVExperience leading or contributing to full lifecycle ERP implementations
  • Strong understanding of ERP business processes, including finance, accounting, distribution, inventory, or manufacturing
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into ERP configurations
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a consulting environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working for a Microsoft Dynamics Partner / VARExperience with Business Central extensions, integrations, or reporting tools
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, or Azure integrations
  • Prior experience with NAV migrations to Business Central
  • Industry experience in distribution, manufacturing, professional services, or retail
