MAR JPO Engineering SME

Overview: The position supports the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO) at Robins AFB, GA and involves providing engineering and acquisition support for the PNT PO GPS Modernization Program.

Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent, quality engineering support of the PNT PO GPS Modernization Program. Perform engineering evaluations of GPS Enterprise Technical Change Proposals issued by the GPS Directorate. Review and assess high volumes of changes for impact to PNT PO systems. Provide engineering and risk‑management support to PNT systems such as EGI‑M and DAGR, including SRR, PDR, CDR and TRR. Represent PNT PO in various Technical Interchange Meetings when needed. Support Engineering Review Boards and Adjudication Working Groups with the GPS Directorate.

Work Environment: Location: WPAFB AFB, OH and/or work from home.

Travel Requirements: Minimal.

Working Hours: Standard, 40 hrs per week.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including work on classified secure systems in support of mission operations aligned with the Key Responsibilities. Active Secret Clearance required. Desired: Experience working for government customers. Desired: Master’s Degree in a technical field.
