Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Compensation: $56,160 - $74,880 per year (Direct Hire)

About the Opportunity: Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a leading pet food production company in Little Falls, MN. In this role, you’ll help maintain and repair equipment in one of the industry’s largest and most advanced freeze-drying facilities. What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician: Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine necessary repairs Plan repairs according to work orders and preventative/predictive maintenance schedules Perform routine maintenance on equipment, utility, and facility systems Maintain electrical and PLC/Controls systems Inspect facilities and grounds for needed repairs Order supplies and materials for repairs and maintenance Perform basic maintenance and operation of HVAC systems Follow Lock-Out-Tag-Out and all safety procedures What You Need to Bring to the Maintenance Technician Role:3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production facility Special Engineer class Boiler License or willingness to obtain Electrical/PLC/Controls knowledge and experience Willingness to obtain Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration certificate Ability to read and understand manuals, drawings, and P&ID documents Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Forklift certification and experience or willingness to obtain Benefits Offered by the Company This company offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family.
