What You'll Do: Install commercial HVAC equipment and systems according to plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and code. Install round and rectangular ductwork, gas lines, condensate lines, and related HVAC components. Install and connect controls, wiring, and equipment accessories within the scope of the position. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job requirements. Complete commercial HVAC installations from startup through project completion. Identify field conditions, installation issues, and material needs and communicate them promptly. Coordinate with project managers, foremen, technicians, subcontractors, inspectors, and customers. Assist with inspections, job documentation, and project closeout. Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles. Follow all company safety policies and jobsite procedures. Depending on experience, provide direction and support to less-experienced installers.
