Powder Coater

Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, blasting, and masking as necessary Set up and operate powder coating equipment including spray guns, booths, and ovens Apply powder coatings to parts and products according to specifications Inspect coated items for quality, uniformity, and proper thickness Touch up, rework, or strip coatings when necessary Follow all safety procedures, including the proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness Document work performed and report any issues or defects to supervisors
