Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing services to patients. The SLP will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to improve communication, functional abilities, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals. Provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate. Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies, home programs, and communication techniques. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate. Provide patient-centered care while maintaining a safe and supportive treatment environment.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current SLP license in the applicable state. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred/required based on facility requirements. Previous clinical experience preferred. Strong communication, clinical, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
