This is a fully onsite position and an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor with a strong mission-critical pipeline, excellent career progression and long-term project security.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day field operations and coordination of electrical trade contractors and subcontractors. Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the approved project schedule. Maintain a detailed understanding of contract documents, drawings and project requirements. Develop and communicate field work plans, including any changes or contingency measures. Manage project schedules, monitor progress and communicate updates to the project team and trades. Plan and coordinate jobsite logistics, materials and workforce requirements. Lead contractor meetings, daily huddles and pre-task planning. Act as a key safety representative onsite, ensuring compliance across all trades. Oversee quality-control plans and resolve potential issues before they affect delivery. Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation. Support subcontractor scopes, buyout, T&M tracking and financial forecasting. Train and manage Field Engineers, Superintendents and other direct reports. Build strong relationships with clients, trade partners and the wider project team.
Experience Required:
7-12 years of construction experience in a Superintendent position. Strong electrical construction experience. Experience leading a major component of work or complete projects valued at $30M+.Previous data center or mission-critical project experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, scheduling, logistics, cost control and safety. Confident leading subcontractors and managing complex onsite operations. Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
