Job Description: Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) - Newark, OH
Job Summary: Newark Rehabilitation, a thriving community dedicated to providing comprehensive care, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our clinical team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of our nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, develop, and assist with the direction of the overall operation of the nursing department
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and Company standards
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve seamless care coordination
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities
Requirements:
  • Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school
  • Must possess current RN License and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing
  • At least three years' experience in nursing administration, including supervision, preferably in a long-term care setting
  • Knowledgeable about regulations and standards established by Medicare, Medicaid, and state and city government
