About the Role:
The Company is in search of an Executive Vice President, National Employee Benefits Practice Leader to spearhead the strategic vision and growth of its employee benefits division. The successful candidate will be tasked with setting and executing the national strategy for employee benefits, with a focus on driving profitable growth, increasing client retention, and expanding carrier partnerships. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in employee benefits consulting, deep expertise in benefits plans, healthcare trends, and insurance legislation, and the ability to influence and execute enterprise-wide strategy. The EVP will have full P&L ownership, and their impact will be directly felt in corporate earnings, talent development, and long-term enterprise value. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' progressive leadership experience in employee benefits consulting, ideally within a middle-market or large-group retail brokerage environment. A strong background in building and leading teams, as well as experience in a fast-growing, PE-backed organization, is highly preferred. The role demands a leader who can stay ahead of industry trends, and competitive strategies, and proactively translate insights into actionable initiatives. The EVP will also be responsible for operational and financial stewardship, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining the highest ethical standards. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or graduate degree being a plus, and professional certifications such as CEBS and Life & Health licenses are strongly preferred.
