Site Development Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Development Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of site development projects from initial feasibility through to completion. This role will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, statutory authorities and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and achieve successful project outcomes. Key responsibilities will include preparing and managing project programmes, budgets, risk registers and delivery plans; coordinating surveys, design development, planning applications, utilities, access arrangements, earthworks, drainage and infrastructure installation; and overseeing procurement, contractor appointments and construction activities. You will monitor progress, identify and resolve technical or commercial issues, manage variations and claims, and provide clear, regular reporting on project performance. The role will also involve reviewing designs and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and technical standards, and maintaining robust health, safety, environmental and quality controls throughout each project. Applicants should have proven experience managing site development, civil engineering, infrastructure or construction projects, ideally from concept and planning through to handover. A relevant qualification in civil engineering, construction, project management or a related discipline is desirable, along with strong knowledge of development processes, contractor management, project controls and statutory requirements. You will need excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills, a practical and commercially aware approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment. Professional accreditation or membership of an appropriate industry body would be advantageous.
