Role Description: This is a remote contract role for a Hospitality Interior Designer. The Hospitality Interior Designer will develop interior concepts for hotels, resorts, mixed-use destinations, and entertainment-driven hospitality spaces, aligned with project narratives and brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, creating mood boards and design presentations, selecting FF&E, and coordinating with architects and consultants to ensure cohesive design solutions. The role involves producing and reviewing interior layouts and construction-related documentation, collaborating across time zones, and responding to client feedback with clear design refinements. The designer will also support project coordination, assist with sourcing materials and finishes, and contribute to design guidelines that enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications: Strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E selection, including concept development, material and finish specification, and hospitality-focused detailing. Proficiency in Space Planning with an emphasis on guest experience, circulation, and operational efficiency for hotels, resorts, and mixed-use environments. Understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to interpret and coordinate with architectural plans and technical documentation. Experience in hospitality or entertainment design, with a portfolio demonstrating built or fully documented projects. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite) and digital presentation software. Strong visual communication, presentation, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and consistency in deliverables. Ability to work independently in a remote, international, multi-time-zone environment, managing deadlines and multiple projects concurrently. Relevant degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.
