CT Technologist Contract Opportunity Advance your career in medical imaging by utilizing your CT expertise in a dynamic acute care hospital setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to contribute to a Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center providing diverse services including cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, emergency care, and more. The facility features a Level 2 Nursery and dedicated specialty units, supporting patient care across multiple disciplines.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Imaging program with CT specialization
  • Valid and current ARRT (CT) or equivalent certification
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
  • Previous experience performing CT scans in a hospital or clinical environment required
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and advanced imaging protocols
  • Familiarity with JCAHO, HIPAA, and infection control standards
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams
Schedule/Hours: Contract position (details provided upon interview)
Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians while ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Properly set up and use CT scanners and related equipment, adjusting protocols as appropriate for each case
  • Prepare and position patients according to exam requirements and clinical needs
  • Collaborate with radiologists and the broader medical team to achieve optimal imaging results
  • Maintain accurate patient records, image documentation, and adhere to confidentiality practices
  • Contribute to the overall function and inventory management of the imaging department
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and continuing education
