Senior Site Startup Scheduler
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support a large-scale biotech/pharmaceutical site startup. This role will own the Master Integrated Schedule, coordinate schedules across multiple workstreams, identify critical path activities, and provide visibility into schedule risks, resource constraints, and key milestones. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Primavera P6, Monday.com, critical path analysis, resource planning, and scheduling within GMP-regulated biotech or pharmaceutical environments.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize the site's Master Integrated Schedule using Primavera P6 and Monday.com. Integrate workstream-level schedules into a consolidated master schedule. Establish milestone logic, activity relationships, dependencies, and critical path ties across workstreams. Perform weekly critical path, schedule variance, and look-ahead analyses. Identify schedule risks, delays, and interdependencies and proactively communicate potential impacts. Support capacity planning and resource leveling across labor, facilities, equipment, and other site resources. Coordinate scheduling for commissioning, qualification, validation, and CQV activities. Integrate schedules for Health Authority inspections, internal quality audits, and other regulatory milestones. Partner with Engineering, Construction, Quality, Manufacturing, Validation, Tech Transfer, and other cross-functional teams to maintain schedule alignment. Support site startup and execution planning for major biotech/pharmaceutical facilities. Maintain accurate schedule reporting, milestone tracking, and management-level schedule updates. Identify opportunities to optimize sequencing and improve overall project execution.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Construction Management, or a related field.8+ years of professional scheduling experience, preferably supporting large-scale biotech/pharmaceutical site startup or facility activation projects. Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.Experience with Monday.com or similar enterprise scheduling/project management platforms. Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) and schedule logic. Experience with schedule integration, dependency management, variance analysis, and resource leveling. Experience working in GMP/cGMP-regulated environments. Understanding of facility startup, commissioning, qualification, validation, and/or CQV activities. Experience supporting technology transfer and manufacturing readiness activities.
Preferred Qualifications: PMI-SP, Primavera P6 certification, or similar scheduling certification. Experience with MS Project, SAP, MES, or other enterprise scheduling systems. Experience supporting large capital projects within biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments. Experience coordinating schedules across Engineering, Construction, Quality, Manufacturing, Validation, and Tech Transfer teams. Strong understanding of pharma facility startup and Tech Transfer execution timelines.
