The Equitable Bank is looking for a relationship-driven business banking professional to help grow commercial deposit and cash management relationships throughout Metro Milwaukee. This is a market-facing role for someone who enjoys meeting business owners, developing new relationships and becoming a trusted banking resource. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their needs and connect them with the right financial solutions across the Bank. What You’ll Do: Develop new business deposit relationships throughout Metro Milwaukee. Build relationships with business owners, professionals, contractors, real estate investors, property managers and centers of influence. Identify cash management needs, including ACH, wires, remote deposit capture, positive pay and online banking solutions. Maintain a proactive calling, networking and business development program. Deepen existing relationships by identifying additional business and personal banking needs. Partner with commercial lenders, mortgage lenders, retail banking and the Investment Center to connect customers with the right resources. Conduct relationship reviews that consider deposits, cash management, credit needs and overall relationship opportunities. Represent The Equitable Bank at community events, networking functions and business organizations. Track business development activity, opportunities, account openings, referrals and follow-up activity. Help develop and implement business development strategies that support the Bank’s growth goals. Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable banking laws, regulations and Bank policies.

What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of experience in business banking, commercial banking, treasury or cash management, financial services, business development, B2B sales or relationship management preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop new business and build long-term customer relationships. Comfortable with prospecting, networking and proactive business calling. Experience identifying business deposit or cash management needs strongly preferred. Knowledge of ACH, wires, remote deposit capture, positive pay and related treasury services is a plus. Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Professional presence and the ability to represent the Bank positively in the community. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems. Existing Metro Milwaukee business relationships are a plus, but not required. Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation and the ability to travel throughout the Metro Milwaukee area. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred but not required. Equivalent banking, financial services, sales or business development experience will be considered.
