Electrical Estimator

Location: Kansas City, MO 64102

Duration: Direct Hire

Overview: Client is looking for an experienced, team-oriented Estimator. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated problem solver with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and possess a passion for excellence. Day to Day:· Assemble material and labor costs for clients and proposals for construction projects· Conduct subcontractor solicitation and pre-qualification tasks· Analyze and insert specialty and standard equipment and material pricing into the estimate· Confirm our estimate meets the schedule protocol and specifications of scope· Evaluate and condition subcontractor and supplier quotes· Research cost history and update data base(s)· Provide preliminary pricing for indirect and general conditions· Responsible for reviewing specialty and standard equipment pricing· Review plans and specifications for completion of estimates· Review commercial terms and conditions for cost and risk items and present concerns to lead estimator· Responsible for the accuracy and validity of estimate clarifications and assumptions· Analyze and price value engineering for submission· All other duties as assigned
